Jason Wright is a 6th Degree Black Belt and Master Instructor at Ealing Choi Kwang-Do
Jason Wright started his martial arts training in Tae Kwon-Do in 1985 under Grandmaster Marshall Pereira. He achieved his 1st Degree Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do in 1988 aged 14. Around the same time, Grandmaster Pereira was introducing Choi Kwang-Do to his Tae Kwon Do schools which resulted in Jason Wright recertifying as a 1st Degree Black Belt in Choi Kwang Do in 1989.
After a period away from training to study, he returned in 1995 and began assisting and teaching at the Wembley Choi Kwang Do School under Master Keith Banfield. After certifying as an Assistant Instructor, he went on to achieve 2nd Degree Black Belt in April 1996 and Head Instructor in December 1998.
His subsequent promotions to 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th Degree Black Belt have all been conducted personally by Grandmaster Kwang Jo Choi.

Between 2003 and 2008, Master Wright was a full time professional instructor teaching at a variety of locations alongside his first Choi Kwang-Do school in Hendon and the Ealing school which he took over from Master Banfield. These included a 3 year marital arts programme delivered as part of a school curriculum, a number of after school classes, plus numerous short courses and workshops in both the public and private sector.
Since 2009, Master Wright has focused solely on the development of Ealing Choi Kwang-Do but the objective remains the same: to help as many people as possible enjoy the physical and mental benefits that Choi Kwang Do provides, leading to a happier, healthier and more productive life.
Master Wright is assisted by the Leadership Team. This includes a core of dedicated instructors who have undertaken specialised training to enable them to support students in class and enhance their learning experience. They continue to take monthly workshops with Master Wright to refine their leadership and technical skills in Choi Kwang-Do as part of their ongoing personal development.
